Board

Realizing “transparency is the only method of communication that works consistently,” the development of a board (advisory or otherwise) provides multiple levels of input and ideas that can keep your organization fresh and energetic.

Executive

Knowing the sign of a good leader is “one who occasionally gets ahead of their followers,” the next step is to engage in scenario planning in anticipation of the changes ahead.

Strategic

Remembering that “culture eats strategy for lunch,” a total assessment of the organization will provide the framework for organizational change that creates growth and profitability.

Scenario_Planning

In most instances, we’ve “been there and done that”. The issues are remarkably the same for large institutional business and small to medium sized “family” business.

Mediation

Understanding that it’s not “One darn thing after another…..its a few darn things over and over and over. Remember the definition of insanity? It’s doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results!

RRG Consulting LLC

Randy Gleason Consulting, LLC was formed to assist Business and Professional Organizations in five distinct areas:

(1) Executive Coaching,
(2) Facilitation,
(3) Mediation
(4) Organizational Assessment, and
(5) Strategic and Scenario Planning.

Immediately prior to starting Randy Gleason Consulting LLC, I served as Executive Director of Development for University of New Mexico Hospitals serving as Chief Fundraiser for UNM Children’s Hospital, UNM Children’s Psychiatric Center, and the Pediatric Department of the UNM School of Medicine from 2001 to 2006.

Prior to 2001, for twenty-plus years I worked in the financial services industry in both Texas and New Mexico. From 1989 until 2001, I served in several senior management positions with what is now Wells Fargo Bank/New Mexico where I led the growth and development of the largest bank based Trust, Investment and Securities Brokerage division in New Mexico. Prior to that, I spent a decade in the healthcare field in Texas managing community mental health and mental retardation centers.

Community service is important to me and that includes service in the past as a member and Chair of the Board of Trustees of the UNM Hospitals System; a member of the Editorial Advisory Board of the New Mexico Business Journal and Board of Directors of New Heart Rehabilitation, Inc. I am currently a member of the Economic Forum.

I’ve been an active Rotarian since 1974, having served as a member of my club Board of Directors, and club President. In 2000-2001, I served as District Governor and was the Council on Legislation Delegate for 2007. During 2008 and 2009, I served as District Annual Funds Chair and Major Gift Advisor for Zone 25.

My education includes a BA Degree from New Mexico State University, in Las Cruces, New Mexico and an MA Degree from St. Mary's University in San Antonio, Texas. I am also a graduate of the College of Financial Planners in Denver (inactive) and the American Bankers Association's National Graduate Trust School at Northwestern University in Chicago.

I am also a Principal and Co-Founder of Social Enterprise Ventures, LLC (www.socialenterpriseventures.com) where we provide similar services and for tax-exempt organizations across the country in addition to formal Social Enterprise Training across the country.

Debbie and I are the parents of two terrific sons who have brought much joy into our lives by choosing good, smart, gorgeous women to marry and with whom they have produced the brightest granddaughter and grandsons the world has ever known!
